Mackenzie Hall in Windsor: Photographer's Perspective

April 25th, 2026

Some weddings make you smile from start to finish, and this was definitely one of those days.

When I arrived, it was clear how excited they were to get married. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, they shared happy tears, laughter, and real moments. Photographing their story at Assumption Church in Windsor, one of the city’s most beautiful churches, was a wonderful experience. During their vows, you could feel the emotion from everyone in the room, not just the couple.

After the ceremony, we went to Mackenzie Hall for portraits. I love taking photos there because the place has so much character, from its classic architecture to its peaceful gardens. It also gave the couple a chance to slow down, take a breath, and enjoy being together for the first time as husband and wife.

Those quiet moments are often my favourites. The private conversations, natural laughter, and little glances they share can’t be planned. Couples often tell me these are their favourite photos when they look through their gallery. As a photographer in Windsor, Ontario, I get to witness stories like this all the time, and I never take it for granted. Every couple is unique, but my goal is always the same: to capture your wedding day as it really felt, so you can look back years from now and remember every emotion, not just the details.

If you’re looking for a Windsor wedding photographer who values real moments over posed ones, I’d love to help tell your story.
