<h2><span style="font-size: 16px;">I won&rsquo;t ask you to hold a complicated pose for several minutes. Instead, I&rsquo;ll give you simple directions and prompts so you can do something natural together.</span></h2>
<h2><span style="font-size: 16px;">We might walk, talk, hold hands, sit together, dance, or just spend some time looking into each other's eyes.</span></h2>
<h2><span style="font-size: 16px;">The goal isn&rsquo;t to make everything look perfectly posed. I want your photos to feel like you.</span></h2>
<h2><span style="font-size: 16px;">It&rsquo;s normal if the first few photos feel a bit awkward. Usually, after the first 10 to 15 minutes, couples start to relax and forget the camera is there.</span></h2>

How to Prepare for a Memorable Engagement Session

<h2><span style="font-size: 16px;">Some weddings make you smile from start to finish, and this was definitely one of those days.</span></h2>
<h2><span style="font-size: 16px;">When I arrived, it was clear how excited they were to get married. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, they shared happy tears, laughter, and real moments. Photographing their story at Assumption Church in Windsor, one of the city&rsquo;s most beautiful churches, was a wonderful experience. During their vows, you could feel the emotion from everyone in the room, not just the couple.</span></h2>
<h2><span style="font-size: 16px;">After the ceremony, we went to Mackenzie Hall for portraits. I love taking photos there because the place has so much character, from its classic architecture to its peaceful gardens. It also gave the couple a chance to slow down, take a breath, and enjoy being together for the first time as husband and wife.</span></h2>
<h2><span style="font-size: 16px;">Those quiet moments are often my favourites. The private conversations, natural laughter, and little glances they share can&rsquo;t be planned. Couples often tell me these are their favourite photos when they look through their gallery. <h2 style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">If you&rsquo;re getting married in Windsor or the surrounding area, you actually have some really beautiful options.</span></h2>
<h2 style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">As a Windsor wedding photographer, these are five venues I think are worth checking out.</span></h2>
<h2><strong><span style="font-size: 24px;">1. Willistead Manor</span></strong></h2>
<h2><span style="font-size: 16px;">Willistead Manor is one of those places that already feels beautiful before you even add anything to it.</span></h2>
<h2><span style="font-size: 16px;">Located in Walkerville, the historic mansion has so much character, from the architecture and gardens to the beautiful brick exterior. There are also plenty of great spots around the property for portraits.</span></h2>
<h2><span style="font-size: 16px;">I especially love the idea of a fall wedding here. The colors around the manor can make for some incredible photos.</span></h2>
<h2><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>2. Art Gallery of Windsor</strong></span></h2>
<h2><span style="font-size: 16px;">If a traditional wedding venue isn&rsquo;t really your thing, the Art Gallery of Windsor is a pretty unique option.</span></h2>
<h2><span style="font-size: 16px;">The modern space, artwork, natural light, and views of the Detroit River give you something completely different.</span></h2>
<h2><span style="font-size: 16px;">It&rsquo;s also a great venue if you want your wedding photos to feel a little more creative and less traditional.</span></h2>
<h2><strong><span style="font-size: 24px;">3. Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery</span></strong></h2>
<h2><span style="font-size: 16px;">If you&rsquo;re picturing vineyards, sunsets, and an outdoor wedding, Sprucewood Shores is definitely worth a look.</span></h2>
<h2><span style="font-size: 16px;">There are so many great photo opportunities throughout the property, especially around golden hour.</span></h2>
<h2><span style="font-size: 16px;">Summer would be my pick here. There&rsquo;s just something about celebrating outside with your closest friends and family while the sun sets over the vineyards.</span></h2>
<h2><span style="font-size: 24px;"><strong>4. Ambassador Golf Club</strong></span></h2>
<h2><span style="font-size: 16px;">Ambassador Golf Club is a great option if you want beautiful outdoor scenery without having to travel between different locations throughout your wedding day.</span></h2>
<h2><span style="font-size: 16px;">The grounds have lots of greenery, mature trees, and open spaces for ceremonies and photos, while the clubhouse gives you an easy transition into your reception.</span></h2>
<h2><span style="font-size: 16px;">And from a photography perspective, the evening light here can be beautiful.<br></span></h2>
<h2><strong><span style="font-size: 24px;">5. Cooper&rsquo;s Hawk Vineyards</span></strong></h2>
<h2><span style="font-size: 16px;">Located along the Lake Erie North Shore, Cooper&rsquo;s Hawk offers a beautiful vineyard and countryside feel while still being close to Windsor.</span></h2>
<h2><span style="font-size: 16px;">There are many great spots around the property for photos. I think fall would be especially beautiful here when the vines and landscape start changing color.</span></h2>
<h2><span style="font-size: 16px;">It&rsquo;s a great option if you want your wedding to feel relaxed, natural, and a little more intimate.</span></h2>

<h2><span style="font-size: 16px;">At the end of the day, I don&rsquo;t think there&rsquo;s one venue that&rsquo;s perfect for everyone.</span></h2>
<h2><span style="font-size: 16px;">Maybe you want a historic mansion. Maybe you prefer a vineyard. Or maybe you&rsquo;re looking for something modern or a place surrounded by greenery.</span></h2>
